Here's Vaire from The Slimarilllion by Tolkien.
I decided to do something different for her concept-wise. REALLY different. Like Japnanese-inspired, I really do like yukatas. Or kimonos, whichever one this looks like more.
I was going to make her look like a Heian period noblewoman, but the hair going down to the floor and huge layered kimono would be tough to draw. Also wouldn't be suitable for weaving time in, all the fabric and hair would get in the way. Gotta keep up weavin' time when them Feanorians get into trouble with them Silmarils.
